Engineered to handle extreme structural thermal conditions, the HPS® 4500 features an advanced high-temperature resistant outer shell. The interior structure comprises an optimized polyurethane (PU) inner lining that absorbs heavy kinetic impacts and prevents extreme thermal conductivity. A premium chemical-resistant finish shields the outer shell from liquid chemical splashes, industrial solvents, and intense solar degradation, ensuring long-term tactical durability.

Customizable Interior Mechanics and Safety visors

The helmet features an ergonomic 4-point harness system made from skin-friendly, flame-retardant materials that can be adjusted quickly for a personalized fit. An easily accessible, external adjustment dial allows operators to customize tightness on the fly to fit head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. The modular system supports high-velocity polycarbonate or polyphenylsulfone facial protective visors, wire mesh guards, neck curtains, direct-mount explosion-proof headlamps, and integrated communication headsets like the Dräger HC-COM.
